摘要（Abstract）:
Rethinking the role of cellular mobile communication networks beyond communication, we desire to add a “vision-like”functionality to the widely existing outdoor cellular base stations by integration of radar imaging and mobile communication through sharing the existing telecom infrastructure and spectrum. It is the first time to study systematically cellular base station imaging for target detection, which allows to gain much more target features compared with the popular integration of localization/sensing and communication in the literature. In this talk, we will address the concept, transmission signalling and systematic operation mechanism of cellular base station imaging and its applications of case study.
报告人简介：
曹攀博士毕业于德国德累斯顿工业大学电子工程系，获优秀工学博士学位。2015-2017年，在英国爱丁堡大学和美国普林斯顿大学从事5G通信方向博士后研究，自2017年起任英国赫特福德大学高级讲师。目前主要研究方向为无线通信中的信号处理，毫米波通信，定位，感知和通信一体化。曾获得两次国际会议最佳论文奖和高通创新奖。曾参与和主持多项欧盟项目，其中在2022年获得的欧盟地平线计划第一批6G旗舰项目TERRAMETA (六百万欧元)，领导太赫兹通信中的定位，感知与通信一体化研究任务。目前任IEEE通信学会无线电通信委员会感知和通信一体化的兴趣小组副主席，EURASIP Journal of Wireless Communication and Networking副编辑
